Britannia Hall is the hotel’s showcase conference hall and is perfect for national gatherings as well as banquets. The Hall is equipped with top modern audiovisual equipment. Using our user-friendly touch screen you can easily control the video projector, DVD, surround system, lights and curtains.
“Speilsalen”, the hall of mirrors, is the original dining hall from 1897 built in baroque style. Today, the hall is used for private dinners, cabarets and for dancing on the weekends with live music on Friday and Saturday nights. The hall can also be used for meetings.
Salong Wedel Jarlsberg
Salong Wedel Jarlsberg, also known as "the Blue Salon", is perfect for dinners. It can also be used as a meeting room. Wedel Jarlsberg can be combined with the other salons. The paintings on the walls in this room are all motifs from Trondheim. They were painted by Jarle Berg, a student artist as “payment” for his board and lodging.
Salong Nansen is right next to Salong Michelsen and suits best small meetings, private receptions or enjoying a coffee and a drink after dinner.
Salong Michelsen, also known as "the Red Salon", is a popular choice for anyone looking for a chambre separée. The salon can be combined with the salons Nansen and Wedel Jarlsberg.
1897 is a rustique and charming room located in the basement of the hotel. The room is specially well suited for company dinners, birthday celebrations and other celebrational events. 1897 also has a separate section for aperitifs and coffee avecs.
